facility or on line at their computer at home.

TM ’s extensive database
will allow the designer access to a wide variety of moldings, mats, fillets and
liners by price, size color size or manufacturer’s SKU number.

TM’s data base will
be maintained and updated as new images and pricing become available, at no cost
to the user.
- The components can be added to the design in any order with no limits to the amount
of layers.
- A duplicate image can be imposed on the screen side by side and altered, so as to
be able to instantly compare any indecision as to the choice of frames, liners,
fillets, or the sizes and color of the mats.
- The background in the computer can be altered to match the wall color the finished
design will be hung on, so as to better visualize how it will look when completed.
- At checkout a completely priced customer invoice will be generated.
- A complete bill of material for ordering of materials required.
- A shop work order with the details, image of the design, and all dimensions of each
component will be generated for the framing department.
- If the frame is being designed at a gallery, photographer or artist studio, they
will be able to directly access a framing facility’s price list, from a list of
their specialty framers who also use Art Framing Buddy’s software. With this feature,
the gallery, artist or photographer will then be using the framer of their choice’s
wholesale pricing plus their own markup. This will allow the gallery, photographer
or artist to obtain instant pricing for their customers.
- The pricing will be delivered as a code. This way the customer will not be aware
of the mark up.
- The design can be forwarded directly into the framing facilities software. The gallery,
photographer or artist will then be able to monitor the status of their order online.
- The completed design can be stored in a database under an unlimited amount of categories
the designer wishes to create, such as Tropical, Asian, Oceanic, Winter etc.
- Any design may be retrieved either by an invoice number, customer name, or scroll
through the appropriate categories.
- Any chosen design can be used as a template for other similar framing ideas.
- The image can replaced with a new one, along with any framing modifications the
customer may decide on.
- A choice of database designs can be used in a slide show presentation to showcase
the vast framing possibilities you are able to provide to your customers. This can
be accompanied by background music of your choosing to suit each category.
- The slideshow can be continually ongoing, or stopped at any time to allow the customer
to better view the design.
